How do Liberty University Parking Decals Work?
Any motor vehicle (including motorcycles, motorbikes, and mopeds) or bicycle operated or parked on property owned by or controlled by Liberty University must display a valid Liberty University parking decal or temporary parking pass. All employees, students, and visitors bringing a vehicle on campus must register their vehicle, and a valid parking decal must be displayed when parked in any Liberty-owned parking lots (including campus and adjunct lots such as the Natatorium parking lot, Macy's Parking lot at River Ridge Mall, etc.). A general overview of the vehicle registration/parking decal policy can be found here.
New Parking System
Starting in 2018, Liberty University will no longer categorize parking by zones. Instead, residential students now have designated parking lots that are separate from the parking lots used by commuters, faculty, and staff. Additionally, commuters, faculty, and staff are no longer restricted to specific zones and can park in any non-residential student lot that has open parking space. Satellite parking is also available. A comprehensive parking lot map can be found here.
Eligibility
Only full time Faculty/Staff qualify for employee decals. If an employee is part-time and a student, they will only be eligible for student decals. If a student is seeing Faculty/Staff parking options, or vice versa (and they are full-time), a support ticket should be created for investigation.
